 Having struggled with six  losses in a row, Worth County finally turned things around against Baconton Charter  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  an  11-3 margin over the Blazers.
 The team  relied heavily on  Isabelle Hancock, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Karlee Mathews, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Worth County  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with six  strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  strikeout total in three consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Berrien). Everything went their way against Fitzgerald two weeks ago as Berrien made off with  a  16-1 win. The  victory was familiar territory for the Rebels who have now won three  matches in a row.
 Worth County's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Berrien, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 10-12.
