The Carroll Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Fort Wayne North Side on the road to the tune of 76-32. With that win, Carroll brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Carroll's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maddie Gawthrop, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gawthrop has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jersey Paul, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
The win (which was Carroll's third in a row) raised their record to 7-13. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Fort Wayne North Side, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
Carroll will be playing at home against Fort Wayne Snider at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Fort Wayne Snider focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Saturday. As for Fort Wayne North Side, they will head out on the road to challenge Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
