Grandview typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Smithville proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Warriors have won nine matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Smithville's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Grandview, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smithville will challenge Shawnee Mission South at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Grandview, they will take on Kearney at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
