Baseball Recap: Troup Has No Trouble Against Arp

Troup made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Arp, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Troup were the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over Arp on Monday. The result was nothing new for Troup, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Troup picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 7-3. As for Arp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Troup Tigers duke it out with Lovelady Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arp, they will face off against Overton at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Overton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.56 runs per game on average), something Arp will no doubt try to take advantage of.
