For the first time this season, Mound-Westonka will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Southwest Christian Stars  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.

They fell just short of the Red Knights by a score of  4-3. The White Hawks have struggled against the Red Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
 Isaac Aud spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on five hits.
 At the plate, Mound-Westonka saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jameson Damato, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Southwest Christian gave up the first  runs on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them  down. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Willmar  6-4.
  Ollie Olson looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (three).
 The  win  got Southwest Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Mound-Westonka, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
