With a playoff win on the line, Burns rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They won by a  set and slipped past the Vale Vikings  3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Hilanders sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Burns who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 21-25, 25-16, 23-25,  15-5.
 Megan Weil paced Burns' offense, picking up 19 kills. Weil got some help from  Taylor Trent and her 46 assists.
Burns' win bumped their record up to 38-1-1. As for Vale,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-9.
As of now, neither Burns nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
