The Plantation Colonels put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Hollywood Hills 79-42 at home. The result was nothing new for Plantation, who have now won three matches by 37 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Plantation to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daterrius Heller, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 steals. The contest was Heller's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jabari Washington, who scored 23 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Plantation has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 5-0 record. As for Hollywood Hills, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plantation will take on Monarch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hollywood Hills, they will head out on the road to face off against Miramar at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
