Hamilton-Wenham Regional waltzed into their match on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They never let the Masconomet Regional Chieftains get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won 11 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. As for Masconomet Regional, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Rockport on the 24th. As for Masconomet Regional, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 win against Melrose on the 25th.
