The Kings Way Christian School Crusaders lost against the Friendship Christian Spartans back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Kings Way Christian School had to suffer through a rough 66-36 loss at the hands of Friendship Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kings Way Christian School in their matchups with Friendship Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
It was another big night for Kevin Morozov, who scored 29 points for Friendship Christian. Morozov continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Erik Pashnyak, who scored 12 points.
Kings Way Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Friendship Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6.
Kings Way Christian School will take on Victory Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Friendship Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pinecrest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Pinecrest Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Tuesday.
