Liberty is 0-6 against Hamilton since March of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will square off against the Huskies at 3:45 p.m. Liberty is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Liberty took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They skirted past Pinnacle 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mckinley Duce spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Voilet Mitchell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two runs.
Hamilton came out on top against Casteel on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Huskies walked away with a 7-3 win over the Colts.
Madison Moyar and Izzy Estevez dominated on the mound. Moyar tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits, while Estevez pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
At the plate, Hamilton let Taylor Hampton and Alicia Benites run wild. Hampton got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, while Benites went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits Benites has posted since back in March of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Cailin Adams, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Hamilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Liberty's record is now 14-12. As for Hamilton, their record now sits at 15-12.
Hamilton's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Liberty has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Hamilton, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 strikeouts. Will Liberty keep running through batters, or will the Huskies buck the trend?
Liberty might still be hurting after the 12-3 loss they got from Hamilton when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
