The Covenant Christian Academy Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Delta Charter Storm on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Covenant Christian Academy has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Delta Charter will arrive with six straight wins.
Last Thursday, Covenant Christian Academy came up short against Centerville and fell 36-23.
Covenant Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Connor Lally, who rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and Peyton Trosclair who picked up 122 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Delta Charter can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Block, posting a 60-6 victory at home. 60 seems to be a good number for Delta Charter as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Centerville's victory bumped their season record to 6-4 while Covenant Christian Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 3-7.
