Bloomfield will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Orange at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
If Bloomfield were riding high off their 42-21 takedown of Columbia two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Bloomfield suffered a grim 6-38 defeat to Bayonne last Friday. Bloomfield's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.
Meanwhile, Orange have to be hurting after a devastating 7-40 loss at the hands of Weequahic. The blowout was painful but not necessarily a suprise as Weequahic enjoys a considerable advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
