The Schurr Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brentwood School Eagles at 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Schurr will be looking to keep their ten-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Friday, Schurr's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Alhambra by a score of 57-44. Given Schurr's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 418th, while Alhambra is ranked 900th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Brentwood School posted their biggest victory since December 18, 2023 on Saturday. They blew past Hamilton 66-46.
Schurr is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Brentwood School, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-8.
