They put the hurt on Center Line Prep with a sharp 69-49 victory. Trillium Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.
Trillium Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaylin Bradford led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Bradford has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Ian Knox was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Trillium Academy pushed their record up to 16-1 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.7 points. As for Center Line Prep, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trillium Academy will play host again and welcome Star International Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Center Line Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hope Of Detroit Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Center Line Prep is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hope Of Detroit Academy in Michigan (Center Line Prep is ranked 282nd, while Hope Of Detroit Academy is ranked 680th).
