Joshua Pecunes had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 116 yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 68 yards. Joseph Fuller was Pecunes' top target, picking up 99 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Susquehannock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 283 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dover only rushed for 130.
Meanwhile, New Oxford put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 41-6 win over York Suburban at home. The Colonials might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Susquehannock now has a winning record of 3-2. As for New Oxford, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
Susquehannock lost to New Oxford at home by a decisive 14-0 margin in their previous meeting back in September of 2023.
