Enloe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Garner Trojans.

On the hitting side, Garner got a massive performance out of Jacori Covington, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and a triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Goffena, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Enloe's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Garner, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-11.
Enloe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Garner, they will head out on the road to square off against Southeast Raleigh at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Garner will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
