The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Intrinsic in their matchups with Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus: they've now lost four in a row.
Intrinsic lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being America Escalera, who scored nine points.
Intrinsic has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Intrinsic will look to defend their home court on Monday against Kelvyn Park at 5:00 p.m. Kelvyn Park is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
