The Carlisle Thundering Herd will challenge the Hershey Trojans at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
Last Tuesday, Carlisle didn't have quite enough to beat Lower Dauphin and fell  7-6. The Thundering Herd have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Bradyn Sober made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, Hershey made easy work of Red Land  on Wednesday and carried off  an  11-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Colton Fultz tossed a big game,   pitching five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   three  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Clark Green was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Danny Nelson was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 Hershey  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
 Hershey's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-3. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Carlisle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Carlisle couldn't quite finish off Hershey in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024 and fell  5-3. Can the Thundering Herd avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
