The South Fork Bulldogs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They were the clear victor by a 34-10 margin over Suncoast. Considering South Fork has won three games by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Omar Mejia went supernova for South Fork, rushing for 183 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Tony Jefferson ii also helped out with an impressive 98 receiving yards.
South Fork's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Suncoast, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Fork will face off against Jupiter at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Jupiter's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six games. As for Suncoast, they will head out on the road to face off against Spanish River at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Spanish River is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
