The Prince George Royals lost against the Dinwiddie Generals back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Prince George had to suffer through a rough 70-21 loss at the hands of Dinwiddie. Prince George was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.
Raphael Tucker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dinwiddie, rushing for 330 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 18.3 yards per carry. Tucker's longest rush was for an incredible 91 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mickiel Johnson, who gained 79 total yards and three touchdowns.
Prince George's loss was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-6. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-2 Glen Allen and 5-3 Midlothian (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 63.1% over those games). As for Dinwiddie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Prince George will be playing at home against Matoaca at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Matoaca presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Prince George in Virginia (Matoaca is ranked 27th, while Prince George is ranked 179th). As for Dinwiddie, they will head out on the road to face off against Meadowbrook at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Meadowbrook is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
