It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the St. Vincent Indians had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Russellville 56-6 on the road. Considering St. Vincent has won six matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The win was the fifth in a row for St. Vincent, bringing their record for this year to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.8 points per game. As for Russellville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
St. Vincent will face off against Van-Far at TBD on Friday. Van-Far will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Russellville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
