The Brewster Bears entered their tilt with the Okanogan Bulldogs with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Brewster secured a 52-48 W over the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Given Brewster's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 209th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Brady Wulf, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 21 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cort Gebbers, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Brewster pushed their record up to 12-9 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Okanogan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Brewster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Okanogan will head out on the road to square off against the Mountain Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Liberty Bell's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matches.
