Kollin Schumacher and Noah Koenig were among the main playmakers for Regis as the former threw for 204 yards and four touchdowns and the latter gained 131 total yards and four touchdowns. Koenig was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 61 yards.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Willamina's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were outmatched by Gervais on the road and fell 46-19.
Despite the defeat, Willamina got a solid performance out of Jacob Hadley, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Hadley is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last seven games he's played.
Regis' victory lifted them to 6-0 while Willamina's defeat dropped them down to 5-2.
Keep an eye on the end zone in Friday's game as both teams haven't had much trouble getting there this season. Regis commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 6.5 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like Willamina struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.7 per game. With these two high-octane teams facing off on Friday, fans should be in for an exciting offensive matchup.
Everything came up roses for Regis against Willamina in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as the team secured a 44-9 victory.
