The Woodlawn Colonels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 57-30 loss at the hands of Parker. Woodlawn has struggled against Parker recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Parker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Teralyn Hill, who scored 19 points. The game was Hill's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Takiyah Binder was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Woodlawn's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-8. As for Parker, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodlawn will be home for the holidays to greet Jackson-Olin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parker, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Gadsden City at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Gadsden City will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Parker is ranked 49th).
