Basketball Recap: Fox Chapel Extends Winning Streak to Four

Fox Chapel extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Caden Kaiser. The Fox Chapel Foxes walked away with a 59-50 victory over the Peters Township Indians on Sunday thanks in part to Kaiser, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was John Rehak, who posted 11 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Fox Chapel pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Peters Township, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.

Fox Chapel and Shady Side Academy will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fox Chapel is facing Shady Side Academy at the right time seeing as Shady Side Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Peters Township, they will be taking part in a tournament against McDowell on Friday.
