Leavenworth won the last time they faced Turner and things went their way on Thursday too. The PIONEERS came out on top against the Golden Bears by a score of 14-9. The win was familiar territory for the PIONEERS, who have now won five contests in a row.

Henry Rambo was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-4. Leavenworth is 6-1 when Rambo posts two or more runs, but 6-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Julian Simon, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Leavenworth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Leavenworth's record now sits at 12-14. As for Turner, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.
