The Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Center-Stanton Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
Last Friday, Hettinger/Scranton ended up a good deal behind Faith and lost 61-43. While losing is never fun, Hettinger/Scranton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 65th in North Dakota, while Faith is ranked 19th in South Dakota).
Meanwhile, Center-Stanton took a serious blow against Flasher last Saturday, falling 57-22.
Hettinger/Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Center-Stanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
