After seven games on the road, Hillsborough is heading back home. They will take on the Governor Livingston Highlanders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Hillsborough has not done well against Hunterdon Central recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Hillsborough came out on top against Hunterdon Central by a score of 47-36.
Hillsborough's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aadit Shah, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shah has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Philip Unangst, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Governor Livingston didn't have too much trouble with Roselle Park at home on Thursday as they won 55-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Governor Livingston.
Hillsborough's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Governor Livingston, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
