 The  win was  the sixth in a row for Opp, bringing their record for this year to 38-6-1. As for Thomasville, their loss dropped their record down to 30-8.
 Opp will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Excel at 9:15  p.m. Opp's pitching crew has only allowed 1.3  runs per game  this season, so Excel's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Thomasville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
