The St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 58-32 margin over False River. The victory was just what St. Edmund needed coming off of a 75-26 loss in their prior contest.
St. Edmund's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for False River, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Edmund will take on the Bears at TBD on Thursday. As for False River, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Christ Episcopal School is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
