In what's become a running theme this season, the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past McClain 62-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lynchburg-Clay has posted since December 11, 2023.
Lynchburg-Clay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jade Massey, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Massey hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Addison West, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lynchburg-Clay's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for McClain, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
