Melbourne Central Catholic found their leader in underclassman Tristan Hamilton, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Hamilton scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Deane, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
The victory (which was Melbourne Central Catholic's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Four Corners, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-8.
