The St. Paul Central Minutemen will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Minneapolis South Tigers at 10:45 a.m. Minneapolis South took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Paul Central, who comes in off a win.
St. Paul Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Washington Tech as St. Paul Central made off with a 58-32 victory. The victory was just what St. Paul Central needed coming off of a 68-18 defeat in their prior game.
St. Paul Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Regina Williams, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kyla Parker, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Minneapolis South came up short against Washburn on Tuesday and fell 56-49.
St. Paul Central's win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Minneapolis South, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3.
