Sacred Heart Academy and Foran are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. Sacred Heart Academy will host Foran at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Sacred Heart Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight defeats, while Foran will come in with 17 straight victories.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Foran and Lauralton Hall have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Lions never let the Crusaders get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Abigail Corris made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Julia O'Connell, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Nyla Jaser, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Foran hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.
Foran's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Sacred Heart Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
