The Corliss Trojans can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They snuck past Fenger with a 60-55 victory. That five points margin sets a new team best for Corliss this season.
Corliss found their leader in underclassman Joshua Pegues, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pegues has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of D?Mario Sanders, who scored 12 points.
Corliss' win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Fenger, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
