The Stern Titans came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Alliance Bloomfield with points to spare, taking the game 67-51. For Stern, this counts as revenge for the 54-51 loss Alliance Bloomfield walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Stern got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jr Romero out in front who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Vince Villanueva, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds.
Stern is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Alliance Bloomfield, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
Stern will head out on the road to take on Los Angeles Leadership Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Alliance Bloomfield, they will stay at home for another game and welcome University Prep Value at 2:00 p.m. on January 30th. University Prep Value is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
