The First Baptist Crusaders won the last time they faced Varsity Opponent, and things went their way on Thursday too. First Baptist blew past Varsity Opponent 82-43 on the road. With that win, First Baptist brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead First Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Owen Nelson, who scored 17 points. Levi Borner was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
The win got First Baptist back to even at 3-3. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 63-268-3.
First Baptist is on the road again on Friday and play against High Street Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on December 1st. As for Varsity Opponent, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Potter's House Christian Blue at 7:00 p.m.
