Last Friday, Wallington had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 38-27 victory over Bogota. Senior Patrick Kaczor was the offensive standout of the match for Wallington, as he rushed for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kaczor has now scored at least one touchdown in the past three games.
Meanwhile, Wood-Ridge were able to grind out a solid win over St. Mary, winning 12-2. The success made it back-to-back wins for Wood-Ridge.
Their wins bumped Wood-Ridge to 3-2 and Wallington to 2-3. The Wood-Ridge defense got after the quarterback against St. Mary to the tune of four sacks, so Wallington's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the matchup.
