After losing to the Eastern Tech Mavericks the last time they met, the Carver A&T Wildcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Carver A&T walked away with a 39-28 win over Eastern Tech on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Carver A&T.
Carver A&T found their leader in underclassman Elisah Guity, who scored 15 points along with four steals. The matchup was Guity's third in a row with at least ten points. Laila Brandon was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Carver A&T's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eastern Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
