After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Jesuit, the King Lions were happy to have found some success  on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Chamberlain 73-34 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory King has posted  since December 15, 2023.
 King found their leader in underclassman  Andreas Jackson, who  dropped  a triple-double on 14 points, 13  rebounds, and 11  blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Jackson has scored all season.  Julien Barnett was another key contributor,  scoring 19 points along with two  blocks.
 Despite the loss, Chamberlain still got an impressive performance from   Johaan Thomas, who  scored 11 points.
 King now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Chamberlain, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-14.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King and Sumner will face off  at 8:00  p.m.  on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sumner has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 753 points over their last 11 matches. As for Chamberlain, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Gaither at 8:00  p.m. Gaither is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.6  points per game.
