The Grace Christian Crusaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mount Zion Christian Academy Mighty Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Grace Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
In what's become a running theme this season, Grace Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Concord Academy 71-27 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-13.
It was another big night for Sarah Strong, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 22 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last 12 games she's played. Isabella "Isa" Roman was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Meanwhile, Mount Zion Christian Academy took a serious blow against the Eagles two weeks ago, falling 77-33.
Grace Christian's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-0. As for Mount Zion Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Everything came up roses for Grace Christian against the Mighty Warriors when the teams last played back in December of 2021 as the squad secured a 95-33 victory. Will Grace Christian repeat their success, or do the Mighty Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
