The Richland County Tigers were the  48-37 winner over the Herrin Tigers when they last played one another  back in February of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Richland County fell just short of Herrin by a score of  55-52.
 Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Kelysse Weiler, who  scored 16 points along with eight  rebounds and three  steals. Weiler scored a full 30.8% of Richland County's points, the third time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  GRAYCE BURGENER was another key contributor,  scoring seven points along with five  assists and five  rebounds.
 Richland County now  has a losing record at 7-8. As for Herrin, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
 Richland County will be staying on the road  on January 6, 2024 to face off against Salem at 1:00  p.m.  on January 6, 2024. Herrin and Christopher will round out the year against one another at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday at.
