The South Glens Falls Bulldogs will challenge the Averill Park Warriors at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
South Glens Falls is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Wednesday. They skirted past Columbia  3-1.
 Isabelle Ames spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, South Glens Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aubrey Hay, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Averill Park won against Ballston Spa  on Saturday with four  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Wednesday. The Warriors beat the Scotties by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  4-3. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Scotties recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
 South Glens Falls' win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Averill Park, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.
 South Glens Falls came out on top in a nail-biter against Averill Park in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023, sneaking past  5-4. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success,  or do  the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
