Jourdanton has won ten straight games at home, while Hondo has won ten straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Indians will host the Owls at 6:00 p.m. Jourdanton knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Hondo likes a good challenge.
If Jourdanton beats Hondo with 15 runs on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Indians were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over Cole on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jourdanton got a massive performance out of Sydney Floyd, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Floyd a new career-high. Kayden Martinez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Jourdanton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in six consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Hondo ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Lytle 13-12.
Briley Krisch was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Ainsley Bohlen, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Hondo's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Jourdanton, their win bumped their record up to 21-5-2.
Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Jourdanton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .519. However, it's not like Hondo struggles in that department as they've averaged .454. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Jourdanton got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February against Hondo by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
