The New West Charter Eagles can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Animo South Los Angeles 56-18 on the road. That 38 points margin sets a new team best for New West Charter this season.
Liam Hakimi continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of New West Charter's points. Armon Behikeesh was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
New West Charter has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Animo South Los Angeles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New West Charter will challenge Foshay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they will head out on the road to take on Math & Science College Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Math & Science College Preparatory's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home while Animo South Los Angeles has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
