Aledo had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 51-19 blowout they got against the Saginaw Rough Riders. The Bearcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Saginaw's loss came despite strong showings from Amaya McGrew and Anabelle Aguilera. McGrew posted five points and five rebounds, while Aguilera put up no points. McGrew has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 24 times she's played.

Aledo's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Saginaw, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.

Aledo will face off against Granbury at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Granbury has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Saginaw, they will challenge Chisholm Trail at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
