The Meadowdale Mavericks entered their tilt with the Roosevelt Roughriders with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Meadowdale strolled past Roosevelt with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 67-49.
Roosevelt lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jasmine Hall, who scored 12 points along with three blocks. The match was Hall's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Ellery Burke-Brown was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meadowdale pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
