Edison have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Kennedy Memorial at 7:00 PM. Edison don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Edison strolled past East Brunswick with points to spare last Friday, taking the contest 31-14. Among those leading the charge for Edison was junior Lucas Loffredo, who passed for 137 yards and 3 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Loffredo's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past four games.
Meanwhile, Kennedy Memorial didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 21-26 to Woodbridge.
Edison's win lifted them to 4-2 while Kennedy Memorial's defeat dropped them down to 2-4. Kennedy Memorial's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Edison defensive front that amassed six sacks against East Brunswick, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
