The Spruce Timberwolves will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the North Dallas Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on December 6th. Spruce will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1538th, while North Dallas is ranked 734th).
Last Friday, Spruce was beaten by Roosevelt 65-31.
Meanwhile, North Dallas' three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They took down Nimitz 63-44.
North Dallas got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremiah Johnson out in front who scored 15 points. Saffold Christian was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Spruce's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for North Dallas, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Everything came up roses for Spruce against North Dallas in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 90-55 win. Does Spruce have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Dallas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
