On Friday Mayflower take on Marshall at 7:00 PM. The match looks good for Mayflower since they are the big favorites in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Mayflower gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Friday. They blew past Central Arkansas Christian 59-35.
Meanwhile, Marshall had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They were completely outmatched, falling 0-42 to Hector.
Mayflower's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Marshall's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Mayflower can add another positive mark to their record or if Marshall can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mayflower's step.
